This pond or lake was our plan B, a bit of my chance to settle old scores. So far I haven't had much luck with water, a few embarrassing photos, from the category: wasted opportunities.
Water sessions require special dedication, and that always means pressure. This time was different. We were returning from a successful shoot and decided to take advantage of the last rays of sunshine. It was warm, everything was in place. All we had to do was position ourselves on the shore, go a few meters into the depths and let ourselves go. The bottom was not very stable, so going deeper would have been reckless.
I experimented with a polarizing filter, but in the end decided that a mirror image would be the best option and would fill in the bottom. It was still necessary to give it a sense or at least a substitute for it. Pretend to comb yourself, pick up the wet leaves and comb them out of your hair with your hands.
You will be the Lady of the lake.
