Girl from the dark forest
It was hot, the midday sun and the heat pouring from the sky raised legitimate concerns. Extreme weather conditions are usually the worst enemy on set. Although no! Rain can be an ally, you just have to make some friends with it. We were given shelter by the shade in the forest, and there after the improvisation began. There was no question of nudity, so it fell on the straitjacket - in retrospect I think it was a good decision, but not a decisive one.
I was positively surprised with a spool of thick fabric ribbon with a clear suggestion that it land on her head. Of course. A roll of cling film also fell out of the backpack. The person who accompanied us suggested stretching the foil between the trees - everyone immediately understood the idea and got down to preparations.
A certain problem turned out to be the nose, which rather grotesquely deforms under pressure, forming something like a pig's snout. We didn't want that, because it wasn't the form of dehumanization we had in mind. So I made a slight indentation in the film so that the nose would fit into it. I took analog and digital photos in parallel. However, the whole analog series was rejected due to the unsightly reflection on the film. It's a pity, it may have to be repeated - the film has great potential, especially on non-sunny days....
