Sinsheim, a small town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. We meet in its center, in a local, popular pub. I don't even know where or who arranged the keys. The smell of unlit cigarettes, chairs on tables. We are definitely the first people to be here since it closed last night.
In my work as a portrait photographer, I'm always looking for details - here I was captivated by the brick ceiling and vaulted ceilings typical of older architecture. Originally there were supposed to be two people - me and Mistress, but at the last moment a third person appeared. A person without a name, a person you will not recognize in the photos.
Today's gallery is dominated by the theme of submissiveness. We conducted a kind of review of latex masks. I chose a red one without eyeholes. I liked the sensory deprivation - the realization that the model would spend the next hour in complete darkness if we didn't act efficiently. A quick, communicative glance with Domina and I know I don't have to hurry.
The red latex mask harmonizes perfectly with Mistress' colorful figure, which helped catch the balance in the photo. The classic black could blend too much with the dark background of the basement. The lack of extras forced a tight, portrait frame. It is in the area of the face that most emotion happens, even if it is hidden under the latex.
Pause. A submissive girl in the dark, awkwardly trying to sense her friend, who is holding a pack of cigarettes in front of her. She smokes in silence, sitting quietly and looking "ahead." As she nears the end, I place an ashtray in her hand. It looks like the next hour will also pass in darkness.
