This photo session in Eberbach was created in winter, at a time when nature shows its most raw and uncompromising face. As a photographer from Eberbach, I knew from the start that this would not be an easy shoot - the gray skies, cold air and ascetic landscape are not forgiving of mistakes, but in return they can give something much more valuable: an authentic, genuine atmosphere.
On the way to the shoot, I borrowed an antler from friends, which was to become an important styling element. Earlier, together, we had watched neo-pagan videos, looking for inspiration to build the visual narrative of this shoot. At the last minute, Sofia offered to try painting patterns on the face - and that was a breakthrough moment. Thanks to her flair and experience, the makeup fit perfectly into the whole concept, and the antlers became a symbolic complement to the figure, balancing somewhere between nature, ritual and fairytale story.
The biggest challenge proved to be the location itself. The wintry landscape of Eberbach was unforgiving in its simplicity, and the heavy, uniform sky took away depth from the images. That's when I pulled a smoking candle from my backpack. That one gesture changed everything. The smoke introduced movement, mystery and understatement into the frames - exactly what the story needed for photography to stop being just a record of a moment and become a story.

We all froze, without exception. But we came back with the feeling that something special had been created. For me, this art photography in Eberbach is the best proof that even in difficult conditions it is possible to create images full of emotion, symbolism and depth - provided that the photo shoot is more than just a technical task.

If you're looking for a photographer in Eberbach who creates not only images, but also stories and atmosphere, this shoot is exactly how I work.
